Compared to ordinary PP-R pipes, the double layer PP-R hot and cold water pipe (enhanced drinking water composite pipe) is of a double-layer structure, which mainly adopts domestic and overseas special materials and special antibacterial master batch of high quality propylene-ethylene copolymer PP-R new pipe. It adopts an innovative process technology of composite head with a special structure and is extruded and molded through two extruders, which not only guarantees the special properties of conventional PP-R plastic pipes of no rust, no scaling, small flow resistance, and low energy consumption of processing, etc., but the most important is that the PP-R intermolecular internal crystal structure such as crystal particle size and form has been changed through process innovation, and the internal stress has also been reduced. Such a structure is featured by greatly improved low temperature impact resistance of the pipe, excellent use performance under high and low temperatures, and reduced linear expansion coefficient. It has basically solved the problem of low temperature brittleness of PP-R pipes both at home and abroad, and expands the range of use of the product. When transmitting hot water at a temperature of 70°C and a working pressure of 1.0MPa, the continuous service life can reach above 70 years. It is an optimal product for the upgrading of ordinary PP-R pipes and PP-R plastic aluminum steady state pipes.

Product Characteristics
1. More stable and better physical and mechanical properties:
Due to the special composite extrusion process, the double-layer composite PP-R pipe has more excellent and stable physical and mechanical properties such as hydraulic resistance, impact resistance, etc. which can eliminate the unfavorable factors of unstable pipe property due to unstable batches of raw materials.
2. Better dimensional stability: Due to the distinguished processing technology of double-layer composite PP-R pipe, its linear expansion coefficient is lower than that of the conventional PP-R.
3. Strong antibiosis, bacteriostasis, and long-lasting effect:
Because of the added special antibacterial agent, the material can achieve sterilization, antibiosis, and long-lasting effect by destroying the respiratory system and the cell wall function of microorganisms.
4. Long service life:
The service life of PP-R composite pipe under the working temperature of 70℃ and the working pressure (PN) of 1.0MPa can reach above 70 years; and the service life can reach above 100 years under normal temperature (20℃).

The PR composite pipe has good welding property. The pipes and pipe fittings can be of hot melt or fused connection, which is convenient for installation with reliable joints. The strength of the connection part is greater than that of the pipe itself.
6. Excellent resistance to low temperature brittleness:
Due to the special composite extrusion process, compared to ordinary PP-R pipes, the composite PP-R pipes can greatly improve the low temperature impact resistance of the pipe by at least 30%.
7. Non-toxic and hygienic:
The molecules of PP-R raw material used only include carbon and hydrogen elements, and there are no harmful or toxic elements, which is hygienic and reliable. It is not only used in cold and hot water pipelines, but also in pure drinking water systems.
8. Thermal insulation, energy saving, health and environmental protection:
The thermal conductivity of PP-R composite pipe is 0.21w/m.k, which is only 1/200 that of steel pipe.
9. Sound heat resistance:
The Vicat softening point of PP-R composite pipe is 131.5℃. The maximum working temperature can reach up to 95°C, which can meet the use requirements of the hot water system in the code for building water supply and drainage.
