Transportation and storage
1. When transporting, loading and unloading, handling and stacking pipes and fittings, they should be handled with care, no scratches, and avoid oil and chemical pollution. Severe impact and contact with sharp objects are strictly prohibited, and no throwing, falling, rolling or dragging is allowed.
2. When loading and unloading, the sling should use a wide flexible belt, sling or rope, and no steel wire rope or iron chain should be used to directly contact the hoisting pipe. The pipe should be lifted with two lifting points, and it is strictly forbidden to use a rope to run through both ends to load and unload the pipe.
3. Pipes and fittings should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse or covered shed, and the ambient temperature should not exceed 40C. It should not be stored in the open air to prevent direct sunlight and exposure. Pay attention to fire safety, and the distance from the heat source shall not be less than 1m. When pipes need to be stored in the open air, measures should be taken to prevent direct sunlight and exposure; pipe fittings should not be stored in the open air.
4. The pipes should be stacked horizontally on a clean and flat site. The pipes should be avoided from bending. The stacking height should not exceed 1.5m, and there should be anti-rolling and anti-collapse measures. The pipe fittings should be stacked layer by layer, and the stacking height should not exceed 1.2m.
